£25,000 Funding Grant: 2 weeks left!

We hope you enjoyed the bank holiday weekend and you were busy working on your application for The Future Games Contest. There are only two weeks left until the contest closes but the application process is simple so there’s still time to enter.

To be in with a chance of receiving a £25,000 prototype funding grant you need to come up with an idea relating to one of these four challenges:

• Use of games technology in a non-gaming context – supported by IPC Media
• Games idea using digital creative content – supported by National Geographic
• Social games using existing networks – supported by Tate
• Music games application – supported by EMI

There are four simple steps to enter:

• Join the Future Games Contest group
• Read the guidance notes
• Captivate us with a 2 minute YouTube video describing your idea
• Complete the online application form by the 12:00 (noon) on Thursday 15th of September

We’ve been really excited to see the enthusiasm so far and with only two weeks left until the closing date we are looking forward to reading your application.
